Join us for the 6th annual MNPolyCon, Minnesota’s premier educational event dedicated to ethical and consensual non-monogamy. Hosted by MNPoly, this full-day gathering is designed to inspire curiosity, challenge conventional beliefs, and create a deeper understanding of diverse relationship structures. Whether you’re new to non-monogamy or a seasoned participant, MNPolyCon provides a welcoming space to share ideas, experiences, and resources within a responsible and respected community.
This year’s theme, “Expressing Your Authentic Self in Non-Monogamy,” invites attendees to explore identity, desires, and emotional needs in the context of open relationships. Through engaging discussions, interactive sessions, and meaningful connections, you’ll gain insights on navigating relationships with honesty, communication, and mutual respect.
We are thrilled to welcome Evita “Lavitaloca” Sawyers as our keynote speaker! An internationally recognized non-monogamy coach, speaker, and author, Evita brings a wealth of knowledge from her personal journey and professional expertise. Known for her candid and empathetic approach, she specializes in helping people transition from monogamy, manage jealousy, and foster emotional awareness in non-monogamous relationships.
MNPolyCon 2025 will feature a full day of workshops, panel discussions, and social opportunities, followed by ‘After Dark’ sessions for more adult orientated conversations and connection-building. A continental breakfast is included for general admission ticket holders, and food trucks will be available onsite for lunch and dinner, with gluten-free and vegan options available.
Mark your calendar for April 5th and get ready for an unforgettable experience!
What is MNPolyCon?
MNPolyCon aims to inspire curiosity, challenge conventional beliefs, and cultivate a better understanding of non-monogamy and related topics. The event is open to everyone interested in Minnesota’s non-monogamous and broader communities. MNPolyCon hopes to promote non-monogamy education by fostering a more open-minded culture that accepts diverse relationship frameworks and encourages positive societal changes.
Definition of Consensual Non-Monogamy
While we acknowledge that the form and practice of consensual non-monogamy (CNM) vary widely between individuals, the following definition is taken from our Bylaws and serves as the organization’s basic working definition of consensual non-monogamy: “MNPoly defines CNM as the belief in-or practice of-sustaining multiple concurrent romantic and/or sexual relationships with the knowledge and consent of all involved.”
Ready for Polyamory Definition
Any relationship structure in which all partners are aware and consenting to some form of non-monogamy / non-exclusive relationship, be it sexual, emotional, or both.
